After writing the article HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE STILL IN LOVE WITH YOUR EX, my inner mind said to me ‘Ifedayo, if your audience discovers that they are still in love with their ex, they will shrug it off because they don’t know if the ex is still in love with them and it will hurt more if they run back to meet rejection’. Relationships are truly hard to understand sometimes. They nearly always start off beautifully and end up with you wondering how they ever worked in the first place. With short term things that just crumble soon after they start, you move on and find the next one. But when real love develops, moving on can be pretty difficult, even when it seems like the future of the relationship was hopeless. Sometimes relationships just need a fresh start; if you still have feelings for your ex and are wondering whether your ex may still love you as well just look at the signs below and pick out yours

• FREQUENCY OF COMMUNICATION: – This is the easiest way to know if you ex is still in love with you. People who are still in love will cling to their ex partners sometimes under the façade of friendship. Don’t get it twisted  *in dbanj’s voice* am not saying if your ex tries to stay friends with you implies that he is in love with you. My dear if you get texts like good nights, calls saying he/she is checking on you frequently, mentions on twitter always, your picture as dps. If that bobo/baby calls you when he/she is supposed to be working at work or if he/she is busy chatting with you when he/she should be listening in class; all these shows that he/she thinks of you often. Because this sort of communications are not really needed in maintaining a platonic relationship.   
• YOUR EX STILL VISITS THE SAME HANGOUTS: – If your ex just so happens to be frequenting the places that you like to hang out, and keeps “randomly” bumping into you, then this could also be a sign of lingering feelings. This can sometimes be a bit hard to determine if you and your ex shared a circle of friends to begin with, but just look for behaviors that may indicate that your ex is trying to see you without actually having to ask you out.
• YOUR EX IS STILL SINGLE: – If for a reasonable time after your breakup your ex is still single; something is up. Generally speaking when people are out of a relationship, they tend to look for a rebound within months. If your ex is still stalling before going into another relationship then he might still be in love with you.
• YOU EX IS STILL THERE FOR YOU:- If you’re going through a rough point in your life and your ex is there for you to give you comfort, then love may still exist. There’s a difference between caring and being in love, but the two do go hand in hand to some degree. Your ex being there for you doesn’t necessarily mean that the relationship has hope of being rekindled, but it is a good sign. If your ex is trying to see you often, he sure feels something. Also, if your ex is still asking you to hang out or still making blatant efforts to see you regularly then there could be hope for your relationship to start anew. When true love was involved in a recently defunct relationship, people usually stop with the “dating” as a means of getting past their feelings. When your ex is still treating you in the same way that you were treated when the relationship was at full force, then it’s likely that the feelings haven’t changed that much. When seeking out signs that your ex may still be in love with you, it’s important that you don’t allow yourself to be taken advantage of or strung along. There are those out there who can’t let go of the past but still want nothing to do with it. Use your best judgment, and look for the things out of your ex that you noticed when you were first dating. Always recognize that the relationship may not have the capability to begin anew, but there are some situations where it certainly does.
• TALK TO HIS/HER FRIENDS:- If the friends thinks he/she is still in love with you then he/she is still in love with you. Remember this… they all still gossip, gossips does not end in high school.
• YOUR EX IS STILL TRYING TO HURT YOU: – Ironic bah? How ironic *hehe*, trust me when I say that if your ex is still trying to hurt you by saying negative things about you then he/she is still in love with you. Most people opt against exerting energy to be aggressive towards someone if they are not passionate about the situation.
• IF YOU EX TRIES TO MAKE YOU JEALOUS:- If you ex is going extra miles just to make you jealous, either through is bbm dps, tweets, status updates on facebook and live actions like going on phone whenever you are around. Don’t mind him/her he/she is still in love with you. Call his phone with a private number you will see that he/she is not talking to anyone *evil hehe*
• IF YOU EX STILL TRIES TO ATTRACT YOU: –  He/she is always wearing extra perfume or seductive clothes whenever there is a possibility that he/she will meet you. If he/she becomes this extremely vivacious and popular person all of a sudden whenever you are around; he/she is still in love with you. It is expedient that you take significant notice of when your relationship ended; if your ex is trying all he/she could to change the situation then he/she might still be in love with you. For example if the reason for the end of your relationship is due to the decadent acts of your ex and the next thing you see is that your ex is doing everything in his power to stop this acts, it is obvious that he/she is trying to show you that you guys can make the relationship work again.
